Inflatable fan engagement products to promote the San Fransisco Unicorns

Background

With an estimated over 2.5 billion strong fan base, cricket is the second most popular sport after soccer. Major tournaments such as the ICC’s T20 World Cup, co-hosted by the US, have acted as catalysts in promoting the sport in the US. According to USA Cricket, the sport’s governing body, more than 400 leagues have opened in America, with over 200,000 players and counting.

The Melbourne Renegades Cricket Team has worked with Giant Inflatables on projects ranging from inflatable fan engagement products to the giant inflatable arch entrance, which the team uses at its home games at Melbournes MCG Stadium. To help promote their colleagues, the San Fransisco Unicorns Cricket Team, the Renegades, called on Giant Inflatables to manufacture the two most popular inflatable sports games destined for the San Fransico area to be set up at Cricket Matches and Fan Engagement Events.

The Design Process

Inflatable Classic Catch:  The Inflatable Classic Catch is a popular design because it provides an exciting activity. It allows children to jump safely and fly through the air while posing for the perfect photo for social media. The base colours for the Classic Catch are PMS colour-matched for seamless brand integration, and the San Fransisco Logo is featured prominently on every side, providing a 360-degree brand impression reminding everybody of our favourite team.

The Mini Target: The Mini Targets are one of Giant Inflatables’ most popular Inflatable Sports Games. The sealed units can be inflated and set up virtually anywhere without electricity. They are small enough to be set up as a booth or used in groups of three in a field environment for youths to hone their pitching skills. The team’s colours and logo are front and centre.

Delivery
