Brisbane Heat is an Australian professional 20 / 20 cricket team competing in the Big Bash League and Women’s Big Bash League, representing Brisbane.
With the 2023/24 BBL season approaching, Brisbane Heat again engaged Giant Inflatables to create two new inflatables to complement the existing units purchased in 2018.
The two new inflatables were designed to offer a greater range of activities for fans, focusing on creating a more prominent spectacle, with both units being more significant than any previous inflatables that Brisbane Heat have in their range.
The two new inflatables we created were the Cricket Skill Zone and an Enclosed Batting Cage.
Cricket Skill Zone:
The Cricket Skill Zone features three unique target screens on the front and a large format target screen on the rear of the inflatable. Given the customisable nature of the inflatables, Brisbane Heat chose to use the sizeable rear target screen as a prominent branding opportunity instead of a fourth activity.
Enclosed Batting Cage:
The Enclosed Batting Cage is an 8m long fully enclosed cricket net featuring independent lanes. With a zip door at the front of the lane, players can have a bat without holding back, worrying that balls will fly off outside the inflatable.
The new batting cage is designed to be a level up from the 6m net already used for younger players.
