The Brisbane Heat is a leading Twenty20 cricket team based in Brisbane, Queensland, Australia. They compete in the prestigious Big Bash League (BBL) and its women’s counterpart, the Women’s Big Bash League (WBBL). Representing Queensland’s cricketing passion, the Heat is known for its passionate fan base and exciting brand of cricket.
The Brisbane Heat is firing up the fun for fans in the 2023/24 BBL season with two giant, new inflatables created by Giant Inflatables. These impressive additions dwarf the team’s existing inflatables, offering a wider range of activities and a more visually striking presence.
The Cricket Skill Zone: Aspiring cricketers can test their skills on three unique target screens, while the large rear screen provides a prime branding opportunity for sponsors.
The Enclosed Batting Cage: Serious hitters can unleash their swings in the fully enclosed 8-metre net, featuring independent lanes and a secure zip door entry. This cage surpasses the size of the team’s previous net, allowing for worry-free practice.
These exciting inflatables are set to be a major hit with fans, boosting engagement and team visibility throughout the BBL season.
The Brisbane Heat smashed it out of the park with fan engagement during the 2023/24 BBL season thanks to a partnership with Giant Inflatables. Two large-scale inflatables – a Cricket Skill Zone featuring diverse batting challenges and an Enclosed Batting Cage for focused practice – proved to be a winning formula.
Fans flocked to the interactive Cricket Skill Zone to test their mettle against the three unique target screens. The zone’s large rear screen also provided valuable branding opportunities, boosting the Brisbane Heat’s visibility.
Meanwhile, the Enclosed Batting Cage offered a dedicated space for serious hitters to unleash their swings. The impressive 8-metre net with secure zip door entry surpassed the previous option, allowing for worry-free practice.
This innovative approach resulted in increased participation and excitement at Brisbane Heat events. The inflatables’ impressive size and prominent branding opportunities further amplified the team’s reach, making the partnership with Giant Inflatables a resounding success.
The inflatable are awesome - i have had such good feedback from the team! We used them for a Fun Run event a couple weeks ago and they looked amazing, plus they were super easy to set up and pack down. They are going down to Bells Beach in a couple weeks for the WSL and then up to the Goldie afterwards. We are super happy with them 🙂
