TEG, a leader in live entertainment and event experiences, engaged Giant Inflatables to design and construct a massive inflatable waterslide for the Fan Fun Centre at the 2025 Australian Open Tennis Tournament in Melbourne. As a trusted partner in delivering innovative and visually impactful inflatable structures, Giant Inflatables collaborated with TEG to create a show-stopping attraction that delighted attendees and elevated fan engagement.
Standing 10 metres high and spanning 24 metres in width and 12 metres in depth, the waterslide was designed to handle high volumes of participants easily. Its vibrant colour scheme and bold Australian Open branding made it a focal point for fans of all ages. The structure delivered excitement and functionality, featuring multiple lanes and a smooth, water-enhanced sliding experience.
Safety and quality were prioritised throughout the project, with the giant inflatable waterslide meeting all necessary standards to ensure stability and durability in a dynamic event environment. The structure was engineered to withstand environmental factors while maintaining the highest level of participant safety, with expert certifications validating its compliance.
This collaboration between TEG and Giant Inflatables highlighted their commitment to delivering premium fan experiences at iconic events. The waterslide became a standout feature at the Australian Open, combining innovative design and operational excellence to create a memorable and engaging attraction.
The inflatable are awesome - i have had such good feedback from the team! We used them for a Fun Run event a couple weeks ago and they looked amazing, plus they were super easy to set up and pack down. They are going down to Bells Beach in a couple weeks for the WSL and then up to the Goldie afterwards. We are super happy with them 🙂
