Kennards Hire engaged Giant Inflatables in this instance to produce an interactive inflatable replica of their iconic cement mixer. The goal was to create a hands-on brand activation piece that embodied their identity while fostering community interaction in a memorable and meaningful way.

Design and Fabrication

The inflatable was developed as a true-to-brand replica for safe outdoor interaction and high-volume fun. Featuring red and grey tones to match the Kennards Hire branding, the structure incorporated a central opening for ball toss gameplay, inviting users to aim at the “drum” of the mixer. The concept renderings show two size options, with the final installation standing large enough to engage a wide demographic of visitors.

Special design attention was given to ensure realism in shape and proportions, and fun in the interactive component. Branding was applied consistently across multiple sides to maximise visibility from every angle. Using internal baffling and durable materials ensured stability during extended public use.

Although the overall design only occupied a small footprint, it delivered a significant impact and only required one person to operate.

Results

The finished inflatable replica was a visual and interactive success at the community event.
