Inflatable mascots are promotional tools designed to nearly any size. Suitable for both indoor and outdoor use, they are often made from lightweight Oxford cloth with built-in inflation systems. This allows for fast setup by one person and compact storage between events.
The Good Friday Appeal raises funds for Melbourne’s Royal Children’s Hospital. Since 1931, it has brought communities together to support critical pediatric care. Each year, the Appeal hosts Kids Day Out—a major family event offering free activities, music, and entertainment at the Melbourne Exhibition and Convention Centre.
For the 2025 event, the organisation engaged Giant Inflatables to produce a 3-metre inflatable mascot that would clearly signal the main entrance and reinforce brand visibility across the precinct.
The mascot was constructed from Oxford cloth and replicated the Good Friday Appeal’s logo in exact detail. It will continue to serve as portable, branded signage for future events.
This year’s Appeal raised $23.8 million. Volunteers, families, and donors across Victoria helped make the day meaningful. The inflatable mascot played a visible role in welcoming attendees and supporting a shared community effort.
Giant Inflatables has been producing inflatable brand activation products, sports inflatables and jumping castles since 1997.
