Projection mapping on inflatable structures delivers a dynamic and immersive visual experience. Inflatables provide a seamless, large-scale canvas for digital content, elevating event aesthetics with high-impact visuals. Their portability and rapid installation make them ideal for temporary activations. The smooth, matte surface of materials such as 600D Oxford cloth ensures even light distribution and minimal glare, creating an engaging display for audiences.
Untitled Group is Australia’s largest independently-owned music and events company, renowned as the masterminds behind much-loved festivals Beyond The Valley, Pitch Music & Arts, Wildlands, Grapevine Gathering, For The Love and Ability Fest.
Giant Inflatables partnered with the Untitled Group to engineer a durable yet lightweight 12-metre inflatable sphere using 60D Oxford cloth. This material was selected for its smooth surface and matte finish, optimising high-quality projection. Designed to withstand wind speeds of up to 70 km/h, the inflatable was tailored for outdoor festival environments. The result was a striking visual centrepiece seamlessly integrated into the festival’s digital light show.
