En Pointe Events is an Australian-based organisation specialising in creating memorable event experiences. They needed a highly visible and engaging element for the inauguration of the Melbourne Quarter precinct. The event celebrated the new urban precinct as “The Flavourful Side of Collins St,” a destination for global cuisine and experiences. En Pointe Events contacted Giant Inflatables to custom-design and fabricate an inflatable private jet replica that would capture the public’s attention at the Melbourne Quarter Square, aligning with the campaign’s international flair and bold theme. The Inflatable Private Jet Replica was a perfect fit, symbolising a destination with the contemporary energy of international cities.

Design and Fabrication

Giant Inflatables engineered the Inflatable Private Jet Replica to meet specific branding and operational requirements. The replica was colour-matched to the Bright Magenta for the main body and Bright Lime for the branding elements and support structures, ensuring brand consistency. The words “Melbourne Quarter” were prominently displayed on the wings and tail in the Bright Lime colour. The fabrication utilised UV-resistant nylon-coated fabrics, providing durability for outdoor, extended use. The material choice ensures structural integrity and resistance to weather elements. The inflatable design adheres to a Wind Management Plan, allowing for safe operation up to a maximum wind speed of 50 km/h. Ease of installation was a key consideration, allowing for efficient setup and takedown for future promotional use.
