An inflatable retail fitout was the solution ZooMoov was looking for to offer customers edutainment activities between home and school.

ZooMoov is a company that specializes in developing children’s social, emotional and self-management skills. Headquartered in Singapore, they currently have 58 retail outlets across Singapore, Indonesia, Malaysia and the Philippines. The company offers playtime spaces between home and school, offering edutainment activities and products to promote life skills valuable to children ages one to ten. They strongly believe the key to cultivating life skills at a young age is to allow them to play.

Bouncy Bubbles is the latest program developed by Zoomoov to encourage children to do more physical exercise through fun play and unique activities.

Zoomoov contacted Giant Inflatables to design the inflatable retail fitout to be ultimate inflatable playroom.

In November 2022, Zoomoov secured an empty retail space in a Jakarta mall and contacted Giant Inflatables to design and create the ultimate inflatable physical education playroom to fill the room.

The brief focused on four key components:
1. Fill the available area with a giant inflatable.
2. Maintain a strong brand identity, consistent with the décor of the space and Bouncy Bubbles brand identity.
3. Create multiple challenges/activities inside the inflatable that encourage physical activity.
4. Design the layout so a large group of up to 20 children can play simultaneously.

The Bouncy Bubbles inflatables playground achieved all of the objectives defined in the initial brief. Fourteen independent challenges are spread across the giant play area, and twenty children can comfortably play simultaneously.

The challenging aspect of this project was designing an inflatable and all its activities in a concise space. With the ambitious objectives to accommodate up to twenty children safely at once, special attention was required in choosing the activities, predicting potential bottlenecks and ensuring a consistent flow of movement. While keeping all these practical and safety concerns at the forefront, equal measures were paid to the overall appearance as the resulting inflatable structure had to draw the attention of children and parents passing by.

The inflatable design coordinated perfectly with the room’s existing décor, creating a solid, cohesive brand identity and experience.
